The annual Bishop's Stortford College

Festival of Literature

Thank you for joining us for the 12th Bishop’s Stortford College Festival of Literature. After a whirlwind two weeks of spectacular events, this year’s extraordinary Festival ended on 12th February. We would just like to say a BIG thank you to all the authors, illustrators, poets and wordsmiths for making this possible and to all of you who joined us from your homes, offices or schools to celebrate the written and spoken word with us!

We are thrilled over 300 schools and families joined us from across the nation and internationally for our schools’ programme as well as over 280 households for our series of evening Open Events.

We hope that you have been inspired by the Festival and we very much look forward to seeing you all again next year!

The Bishop’s Stortford College Festival of Literature, brings acclaimed authors, illustrators, and poets together to inspire both children and adults to read for pleasure. Now entering its 12th year, the Festival will take place online for the first time.

Available to watch live, or on catch up, the Festival will run between the 2nd and 12th of February 2021 and has a Schools Programme aimed at pupils aged between 4-18 years-old as well as an evening Open Events programme for sixth form and adults.
